Guys whats going on?

I'm hearing some very bad rumors concerning STK now on the same side as bob, this is indeed tragic news.

Guys I can't even begin to imagine what drove the STK leadership to this catastrophe but if anyone feels they need to leave because of STKs apparent lack of principles of the leadership then please eve mail me and I will hold you in a corp that is aligned to carry on the good fight.

Many of you I know and will have skills we can utilize concerning strategy, rather than training up more unknowns, it's alway better to keep the ppl you have worked with you and just add to that rather than training a new every 3 months or so.

Some of you that have fought with me in the ASCN/BoB wars will know how bob fights and that is why they need to be wiped from the face of the map. Currently they are up against RA/Goons whom also do not give a crap which exploits they utilize in order to get the job done, they are now better at it than BoB thus the loss of BoBs titan.

We have lots of work to do...

After leaving RULE, M.PIRE offered us the best chance to rebuild and recover from what Star Wolf did to us. Sure we are 'blue' to BoB, but we don't fly or fight with them.

When in RULE we were treated like red headed step children, both by our own alliance and by Razor who thought they could tell us who we could and could not attack. In INVICTUS again we were called off of attacking neutrals and reds because someone else told us not to. Ethereal Dawn killed several of our members because they were blue and we had Virt yelling don't shoot! while we're losing ships.

M.PIRE owns it's own space. It offers us a chance to recover and rebuild, and many red for pew pew fun. BoB is down south, we are up north. And if BoB ever finishes with RaGoon/RedSwarm then everyone knows they'll do a standings reset again, and start all over.

We discussed every option we had open to us and M.PIRE along wit M.Corp seemed like the best fit.

As I've stated, BoB is down south taking on RA/Goon; *NOT* up north. M.PIRE pays *NOTHING* to BoB; BoB did *NOT* help them take their space, MC did.

We looked at what was best for STK and decided. Besides, the complex isn't there anymore for YouWhat or Tribute. No more static Complexes.

I aren't overly bothered but it's put me in a sticky place too. M. Pire are part of 'The Alliance'. That means you guys are now whether you meant to be or not. As such we've had to do the same as we did with RISE and set you guys back to neutral for now until you guys find your own way.

As an aside I don't condone the first post about jumping ship. I don't want that at all. I would hope we're still all friends but it does seem we're really starting to diverge on our paths. You guys are playing the high end game, we're just playing for fun.

Choosing friends, Choosing enemies. I dont think Shme was really getting too worked up, I think he's just shocked as many are. It happens, when he was in STK he fought bob, and was evicted by them. STK was anti BOB for a good long time.

Some people dont forget that kinda thing. Others can move on and realize that BoB has won eve, and would rather play on thier side.

The post was about trying to keep together a group of ppl and not waste talent. ATM STK have put themselves in a situation where I can not help them if I wanted to, such that it is and I like having that option. The point is principle, simply, some ppl like to have that ethos when playing MMOs. Its an morale booster, catering to the needs of those that have done the hard work in the past. If some ppl can not stomach being under a BoB flag then I have simply given them an out until Helen fulfills his promise to have STK run it's own course, under its own flag. Yes ok, I forgot plexes are dynamic spawns now as I was distracted, but then this also indeed gives STK more options. Im sorry guys, I'm a simple person, ya either for me or against me, theres not enough time in the world to sit on the fence. Hopefully soon we can resume a unified effort.

Shme, I suggest you go spend a few months in The Drone Regions then see how you feel about this situation. We were stuck in that soul-destroying shit hole and were weeks away from being able to leave there with something to show. A few weeks ago this move could never have happened.

Shme, I understand where you're coming from, but we've made a decision collectively and as a group. The drone regions were awful - you chose to head to Syndicate with Kero and a great group of guys; if things were any different in STK and I didn't have the support and friendship of the rest of this excellent corp, I think Fun Inc is where I'd head. However it's not that simple. STK has been damaged by the actions of one selfish individual, and we looked at ourselves and took the path that we thought was best for the corp.

Shme, Kero, Pict, Steyny - I know you guys are good persons - I knew that from your past STK involvement - and I respect each of you. At the same time I would hope that even though none of Fun Inc. share the same view as the rest of STK, that you respect our decisions and the path we've chosen. Please don't take advantage of our vulnerability to headhunt and recruit for your ranks. If circumstances change and we decide to journey to Syndicate, so Be it. Given our shared past together I think it's fairly likely we'll meet up again, and perhaps fight on the same side.

Ok as much as I believe in free speech and expressions of opinions you guys are on the outside looking in.

Fact - Helen did not make a unilateral decision. This was brought before the entire BoD and discussed at great length. This was not a spur of the moment decision and it is one we are comfortable with.

Fact - M.Pire is very similar to STK-S in both philosphy and organization. We (on the surface) appear to match up well.

Fact - BoB is in the south taking on RedSwarm. BoB is not up north. BoB had no hand in taking over Branch, MC did. Tinfoil hattery aside vis a vis BoB/MC; BoB proper was not involved.

Fact - M.PIRE pays *NOTHING* to anyone to live where they live. They have promised *NOTHING* to BoB.

Shme I've always gotten along well with you from back in ASCN when you was the best scout I could ever ask for. I respect you, and I respect your opinions. What is aggravating here is when we were in ASCN we were constantly at war with -A- and RA. How many times did RA try to put up a POS and farm our 10/10s? Remember when we shot at Goonswarm on a regular basis? What about when D2 raided us and took advantage of BoB attacking us but didn't lift a finger to help? Where was RAZOR when AZN was under siege?

Yet these are the entities we're supposed to be supporting now? Sure we lost our homes to BoB, but now we have a new home and now we are in a position to hit those that didn't lift a finger to help us when we were down and really needed it.

You guys live in Syndicate, and you won't see us over there so you should have no worries about us meeting up in uncomfortable situations. You stay out of Branch and we won't be placed in one either. Maybe sometime down the road we can work together again.

The idea of EVE being polarized into 2 sides is laughable at best. It's not BoB and Friends vs Everyone else. It's everyone getting what they can and aligning with who's best able to help them.

Kero spoke to me in-game this evening to apologise again for Shme's comments. As he posted earlier, it was out of line for Shme to post as he did. He suggested the thread could be removed but I know folks here aren't big on censorship so I'll leave it for now but... let's leave this thread to die. Further comment from either party won't change either side's perspective :)

Guys come on, don't be this bitter. OK BoB destroyed ASCN, but did you really thing it would have lasted much longer?
BoB was just the pin used to pop the bubble ASCN was. I think STK was way better then ASCN ever was. There is a lot of potential in the corp. This has been displayed in the Fountain campaign.
Though not really affecting the war it was a well though out plan. Much respect for Helen & Co. for setting this up.

Shme, the only thing you're causing with trying to pull people away is more unrest in the corp. Didn't you think they took enough of a beating after wat Starwolf did?
I figure STK is a state of rebuilding the losses and refinding some fun in the game. After all, that's what it's about!
Just go have fun with people you like and respect and stop the bitterness. Relations between corps and alliances are not lasting forever, nor should hostilities.

BoB is neutral to most of the eve-universe whichever means: If we don't see you in a warzone we're not gonna put to much effort into killing you.
BoB is all about fun and shooting stuff. Very much like many other corps...

But the STK has been though some big shit just recently. Huge corp theft, total derailment of our major projects and 2 arsehole alliance in the shitty drone space.

We don't need this drama mate, I dont care less what either RA goons or bob think, I only care about the STK and there friends. If there red I will shoot them and if there blue I won't I don't care if those avatars behind those colours change, it will be GF after and respect where it is due
